Juanita Marie Crawford  age 97, of Pontiac, Michigan. Born January 14, 1924 in Mills County, Texas passed on for her heavenly home on January 28, 2021 surrounded by family that loved her dearly. Daughter of the late William D. and Vergie Fisher; sister of the late J. C. Fisher; loving mother of the late Donald and William. Survived by 5 children: Carole Kaye Evon (Charles), Philip Crawford (Lisa), Jerome Crawford (Linda), Pamela Hammond (Carl), and Lisa Gail Crawford; 10 grandchildren: Debi Woodruff-VanHese, Greg Woodruff (Cindy), Ryan William Crawford (Chyler), Zac Crawford (Andrea), Jerome Crawford Jr. (Shanna), Tina Marie Richersen (John), Aaron William Crawford, Kristie Marie Luther (Josh), Matthew Johnson (Amanda), and Mark Johnson (Caitlyn); 19 great-grandchildren: Alexandra, Abby, Averie Marie, Andrew, Trenton, Troy, Emmalynn Marie, Jadon, Micah, Silas, Asher, Lydia, Josiah, Emma, Noah, Julia, Makenzie, and Parker and 5 great-great-grandchildren: Zayd, Aria, Easton, Landon, and Valerie Marie. She graduated from Mullin High School in 1941, where she was on the tennis team and won awards for her sewing. She lived in Texas, California, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Alabama before moving to Pontiac, Michigan in 1950. She was an Avon Lady for over 25 years and was a member of their Presidents Club. During her lifetime she had many friends and she never met a stranger. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, and gardening. Her neighbors called her the flower lady. She especially loved growing her vegetable garden, canning tomatoes, making salsa, and buying fresh vegetables and flowers at the Oakland County Farmers Market. A memorial to celebrate her life will be planned at a later date.
