William "Bill" Milligan  Oakland County, Michigan; Age 69; passed away Friday, March 20, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 6, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY. Bill is the son of the late Garwood and Phoebe Milligan. Bill moved back to Michigan in 1999, after Pastoring and singing in several states. At Oakland Church, he met the love of his life, Christine Dunckley, and in October 1, 2000, they were married. Bill loved southern Gospel music. He loved to sing gospel songs, and he sang lead for the Gospelmen quartet and also emceed. He loved golf, baseball and biking, in fact there wasn't a sport he didn't love (except soccer). His real love was his family, his wife, children and grandchildren were his entire life. His passion was to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Surviving Bill is his wife Chris, his son Tim and his wife Jesica, their children, Addison, Parker and Jackson; his son Gabe, his wife, Hannah, their children, Beckham and Finnley; his daughter Bonnie, his brother Bruce and a generous amount of nieces and nephews and their children. Preceded in death by his wife Mary.

We know our life here on earth is as a vapor the Word says, and Billy did not waste one precious moment. It mattered not to him if you were rich or poor, sick, discouraged or in need. He was always sensitive to the leading of the Lord and never failed to minister to any broken, hurting soul.

“I cannot count the times he would give someone a Bible or even his own watches. Many waiters were in tears after we would leave a restaurant due to his generous heart. It is that heart we will all miss, it is that heart that we all loved, it is that heart we will be reunited with in Heaven. Until then my love, I love you with all my heart and then some.”
-Chris Milligan
