Susan Jane Chapman Reppuhn  of Waterford, Michigan. She left this world on July 6, 2018, at the age of 71. Susan was born in Pontiac, Michigan in the year of 1947. A lifelong resident of the Waterford area, she graduated from Waterford Township High School in 1965 and then went on to graduate from the Pontiac Business Institute. Her strong work ethic led her to: Magnason’s Pharmacy in Waterford working with her sister; the Pontiac Laundry, on Huron St. in Waterford and S.S. Kresge at the Pontiac Mall. In 1969 she hired into General Motors in the data processing dept., she was eventually promoted to the accounts payable dept. of General Motors Truck and Coach then it became North American Operations EAG and remained in that dept. until General Motors sold the accounting division to Arthur Andersen. For someone who didn’t like to fly, she received all expense paid time in Phoenix, Az., where she trained Arthur Andersen employees, visited her brother and did some sightseeing. She received 18 months of full-paid leave before retiring with 32 years at General Motors. During her paid leave and beyond retirement she worked at the ACO Hardware on Highland Rd. in Waterford. She remained at ACO until the birth of her first Grandchild in 2004. Her Grandchildren were the love of her life and she would spend every moment possible with them. Susan faced tragedy early in life when at the age of five she was preceded in death by her father, Robert M. Chapman due to a tragic automobile accident; she was also preceded in death of her step-father, Richard Dare Trella; mother Mary Sylvia Trella; her special friend and aunt, Betty J. Scantland. She is survived by her friend of three years then husband of 41 years, Daryl Reppuhn, sister Sally (Paul) Drummond; brother, Stephen D. Trella; loving daughter Sara (Scott) Gibbons, grandchildren Brooklynn, Hunter, Chase and Hudson; Daryl’s mother and friend Isabelle Reppuhn. She is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of long time friends who liked/loved her very much.
